Not a huge development, but I know we talked about this earlier on (sometime this year, I believe? I couldn't find it with search, but I probably wasn't looking properly).
The Met Council voted to rename the transit lines. The Hiawatha is becoming the Blue Line, while the Central Corridor is being bundled with the yet-to-come Southwest Corridor as the Green Line. The I-35W BRT is the Orange Line.
There's no name for the system yet, but I know there were some creative options thrown around.
Just wondered what people's thoughts were. Does changing the names to colors seem like a good thing? Will this be a scenario like the airport, where at least everyone I know still typically refers to the terminals by their old names?

It makes some sense for the BRT to be named in the same manner as LRT if Metro Transit wants people to think of the two interchangeably.
