Which bar would most likely be similar to the bar on the tv show Cheers?

What do you mean? You mean like the type of people there or the layout of the bar?

It's authentic and is the type of place that Cheers was trying to portray. As far as layout, there are probably pictures online.

They used to have a ping pong table, drinking at a bar playing ping pong!

Did you miss the Boston forum?

An authentically Minnesota bar is going to be quite different from the Cheers bar...

Authentic is what it is. The style may be different and the environment, but it's not made up. Point of reference, Grandmas, don't know if there's one in the metro anymore, but they literally spend millions on their interior decor trying to create atmosphere. The Rec just is, the people and the occurrences that happen every day make it what it is, not a bunch of interior design work and menu items with cutesy names.

The fact is, the Bull & Finch bar, which is the model for Cheers, is nothing like Cheers. So Boston or no, one has nothing to do with the other.

By that definition, it is Schullers on Country Club Drive in Golden Valley.

Or, the Cardinal, the Hexagon, or the Sunrise Inn, all in South Minneapolis.

None of those are anything like the Cheers bar, though. They are authentic, but they are distinctly Minnesota (or at least Upper Midwestern).

Cuzzys for sure. O'garas is a little too pleased with itself. The Cardinal, now that it's cleaned up a little yes. I gotta say, I lived 20 blocks from the sunrise for over 15 years and was never inside. How about Sweenys over on Dale?
I guess I assumed the OP was interested in attitudes patrons had about the place, not the decor.
