Any city where non-whites aren't made to feel like an alien species. It's 2016. Step into the Millennium.

That would be a great chamber of commerce slogan for Gary, Indiana.

"GARY -- STEP INTO THE MILLENNIUM!!!"

Ok. Seems like you have a solid point based on clear evidence. I'm convinced we are all racists. All 3 million of us.

Don't feed the troll. His points are not based on reality. Coming from Kansas City and St. Louis I have never seen so many groups of people of different races hanging out together or had some many different races and cultures in my group of friends until I moved to the Twin Cities area. Also, the Minneapolis City Council consists of members that are White, Hispanic, Somalian, Hmong and Gay - so obviously some voters don't think of other races as an alien species.

Kansas City and St. Louis are what--majority black or white? My points are based in my reality...and facts. Your points are based in your reality. The TC and Minnesota are overwhelmingly white. You cannot dispute that fact. Pockets of "diversity" does not make it a diverse place.

ETA

America elected Barack Obama. Twice. So electing people of different races to positions of power means little. Cognitive dissonance.

Wait. So only a diverse group can be progressive? That's very...racist.

Yes. Totally agree. Racist people like Treemoni make me sick. I'm glad most people don't see race as the end all, be all.

So you say that the people of Minneapolis view other races as an alien species. So now your saying, people like to vote for people that they think are an alien species? And since Minneapolis is 40% non-white, almost half of the city thinks of themselves as an alien species and are racist against themselves?
