It was good for snow sports because we had two smallish snows during the first week of December. The snow stayed on the ground because it was nice and cold except for the final week in January which melted a lot of snow. We are still skiing on the trails and the parks are still grooming.

It's the worst. My hands are dry, my nose is dry, my hair is dry. My sense of humor is dry. Today was heaven. It was 40 degrees, or so it seemed. Woohoo!

It was 52° at my house We grilled steaks tonight. I saw some high school kids walking around in tank tops and shorts--not quite that warm but still.

the people in this state are hilarious. The first day it drops to 50 in the fall they whine about how cold it is, and the first day it gets to 50 in the spring they throw shorts on.

Yep! You gotta love 'em!

I was so excited to see something besides dog turds and snow in my back yard yesterday; there IS actually ground with (brown) grass out there in places today! Now I have to go out and do something about the dog turds....
