I know, that is one of the reason why I am looking there. High concentration of bicycle businesses, coach Troy . Just looking at google maps and how many bike shops are there per square mile is impressive. Not to mention strong bicycle organizations... Love that.

Cycling in NYC is improving, but I still feel like kamikaze every time I am on the road.

get on your Cervelo and HTFU. Don't let those cars and tri geeks push you around.

I guess the cost of living becomes secondary, while bike riding is taking priority.

While I am not acquainted with Cervelo, the company I have is internationally steel strong

1. 1981 Motobecane
2. 1984 Guerciotti
3. 1992 Cilo
4. 2009 Surly

Are there any Randonneurs around? Any long-distance riders? Does anybody have 100 miles+ cue sheets to share?

Long-distance gravel riding is big right now. There's always a few rides to Duluth (160-ish miles) every year.

In some Minneapolis neighborhoods there is (almost literally) a bike store on every corner. You are definitely moving to the right city.
