Beautiful pictures! I love Minnesota and have considered moving there one day but I don't think that I could handle the extreme cold even though I LOVE snow and winter scenery! I have some pictures that I could post but my pictures are no where close to being as great as the pictures that I've seen on here.

You actually get used to the cold after a while. Dress right and you'll have a great time.

Nerstrand Big Woods State Park, just off the Big Woods Trail. This little guy slept while I got out my phone and snapped this pic, finally opening an eye and sniffing the air after a couple of minutes. Other than that, it never moved. A sibling (I assume) was tucked away under another tree about 100 feet down the trail.

Mystery Falls, Nerstrand Big Woods State Park. Nothing compared to the falls of the North Shore but pretty good for a little park on the edge of the southern Minnesota prairie.

And a pleasant scene in the Suomi Hills non-morotized area of the Chippewa National Forest.

On October 11, 2006, Duluth received its first snowfall of the year:

Me, at 19, probably at my fattest (ironic, since that's usually the fittest age of life), enjoying the motorhome (2006):
