Is the new Greenville bridge open yet? Has it stimulated the local economy?

negative, it's not open yet, & I don't think it will stimulate any economy. And it will probly be several more years before it opens.

According to the timeline on the site The US 82 Greenville Bridge across the Mississippi River it will open before the end of the year. What will it stimulate? The casino on the Greenville side and the Cow Pen restaurant on the Lake Village side. Other than that, the roads on either side are still exactly the same.

For those who might think this is a new connection between previously isolated areas, this is a replacement bridge for one that had been there for a very long time.

My grandfather worked on the bridge when he was with the Arkansas Highway Department. It's been there for a LONG time.
