Thanks

Take I-15 down to the I-84 junc. then take a right and head on over to Boise. Its a nice drive. I've done it in some pretty foul weather, they keep the roads real nice.

The other route I know is the one that heads to like Lewis and Clark on the Idaho/WA border.

That route was nasty in the summer.

Edit: I'm agreeing with AQHA.

Thanks for the advice. I have heard bad stories about the route that cuts through central Idaho during the winter.

How long does I-15 to I-84 take?

Default travel times

Butte to IF takes 5-6 hours and IF to Boise is 4 hours. Of course that's without the snow and blowing snow we're having right now.

I think you're a little off...Butte to Idaho Falls is only 200 miles.

Anyhow, I mapquested it and it said about 8hrs, which sounds about right.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
