Lot of chatter among meteorologists about the monster snow storm building for this weekend. At this point, they know its coming - they just haven't figured out exactly where and how bad it could be.

AccuWeather.com - Weather News | Will Weekend Snowstorm Lead to a White Christmas? (http://www.accuweather.com/blogs/news/story/42659/will-weekend-snowstorm-lead-to.asp - broken link)

Also, there has been some talk about 2 more systems following this one, that could move farther south than the first ends up. If so - could we see a White Christmas again? Odds are against us - but one can hope.

I just hope it stays white and doesn't turn to ice.

I'll believe it when I see it in St. Louis. The heavy snow always seems to veer north or south of us.

I'd never make it as a TV weather forecaster. Its only Tuesday and they're acting like this is the weather story of the century.

I'm hoping for little to no snow. We've had one dusting so far this year which is fine by me. After spending 18 of the last 20 years in Ca. shoveling FEET of snow at a time, I don't look foreward to it much. OK if we just had some Christmas Eve I'd be ok with that lol.

Well, we are seven days into December with just a few flurries seen. We are due.

I'm with you misplaced1! Frankly, I had enough of the white stuff last year that I wouldn't be disappointed if we only had a couple of snows this winter.

As a Michigander soon to move to Missouri, all this talk of snowstorms is quite entertaining! Here, A massive snowstorm means putting on the boots and leaving early for work.

Thats one of my favorite childhood memories.
