I have two little ones.( children that is) Can anyone tell me if there is special programs for child healthcare? Here I have healthy families and we pay $30 a month. Just wondered if any insurance may be comparable or how I would find out. Thanks in advance.

In Missouri, there is Medicaid and WIC ( Women,Infants,Children) and some Community Clinics, but I believe they are all income-based so if you make too much money you don't qualify. Other than that I think there is only employer-based or private healthcare and those are all different. I don't have kids so can't help much more than that. Good luck finding any insurance that cheap, though. I work at a hospital and for my husband and myself it is $142.00/month.

Thanks guys I knew somone could help. Thanks for the link Jammer that helped a great deal. I have to make sure my kids are taken care of just in case everything does not go as planned. You always have to have a plan B when you have kids. Think way ahead of the game.
