If you're new to the forum, da jammer recently started a new tradition...helping boost other helpful forumers to reach their first 100 rep points. If I understand it correctly, it has been someone who is pretty close to reaching that mark and someone who contributes to this forum regularly.

I am the most recent and grateful recipient of that boost to 100 reps and now, it is my honor to announce my choice for my successor!

Drumroll, please!........................................... ...............

I have chosen our moderator, Plains10! He steps in when needed, gives us "room" to work things out (and he's not needed), quickly helps when asked and even participates in some of our discussions! Now, I'm not experienced at this sort of forum thing but I think that makes for a great moderator!

He's at 82 points right now so let's see what we can do to boost him over the top by Labor Day, okay?

Ready, set, START YOUR REPPIN!!!

Default what's the rule?

So what is the rule for givin' out those rep points? Can I only do it once per person? I tried to give a big thumbs up to Plains 10 today (several days after the first one based on the sticky thing) and I can't...

Where are the rules anyway?

Thanks....MrsC in frustrated confusion.

So Plains....ya got a virtual point from me...

mrsc - ya can give 15 reps in a 24 hour period, and must give out 20 reps before giving one to the same person again. FWIW, using the scale thing in the top right allows ya to leave a comment and your moniker, so they know who gave them the point/love/cookie/rep. What is helpful to some is to keep a list of who ya gave the points to, so can track when ya gave 'em - yea, sounds geekish/dorkish , but does help minimize the frustrations when trying to pass them out.

BTW - these rules are on a changeable basis, at the control of the Admin.
