I don't know if this will get deleted as well, but expect more government mandates in the future as to what is and what is not covered. If you're fine with that, so be it, but it's coming.
Shakedown cruise for sure. My insurance company keep sending me letters of things they keep adding on for benefits.

Title plus two sentences. Hope that is sufficient.

Senate defeats bill to reverse birth control rule

"It would simply give every boss in America the right to make health care decisions for their workers and their families," argued Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington.

She and other Democrats said that under the amendment, employers could have cited moral objections to cutting off coverage of immunizations, prenatal care for children of unmarried parents and other standard procedures

Neither the federal government nor employers belong in healthcare decisions. Get them all out. This was never about healthcare anyway; rather, it is a Frist Amendment issue.

This really belongs in the politics forum since the OP chose to make this about more than MO Senator Blunt.

The thread isn't about Healthcare as the main subject. The thread is about what our state Senator(Roy Blunt) is doing in Congress.. Doesn't matter whether it is about healthcare or First Amendment. I am illustrating what our is doing; what we might be getting. As you well know. Many people refuse to enter the dogfight's at the political forum. Thus i posted it here because this forum is about Missouri and that might include a bit of political talk.

Would you prefer that many readers of this forum not see this information?
Please explain yourself.

As for healthcare, a large majority in MO are against Obama's healthcare. I think the only places that voted on it were St. Louis City, and Kansas City. Stl county the proposition to defy Obama care was like 61 to 39 percent I think or something like that. I think overall it passed 71 to 29 percent in Missouri. So even a number of Democrats in Stl county were against it too!
What a true small government conservative you truly are ...

Way to cherry pick facts, Fox News.

News Headlines (http://www.cnbc.com/id/46733528 - broken link)

Quote:
The estimated net costs of expanding health-care coverage under President Barack Obama's landmark restructuring have been reduced by $48 billion through 2021, though fewer people would be covered under private insurance plans, according to a new analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.
Quote:
These cost reductions are largely due to lower estimates for subsidies and tax credits associated with the law's planned insurance exchanges for individual coverage.
They also include higher revenues from penalties and the tax effects of higher taxable income, as private employers drop health insurance plans in favor of extra compensation for employees to buy insurance via the exchanges.
And even, hidden down near the bottom of the Fox News piece is a nuggest of context:

Quote:
As expensive as it is, the CBO predicts the law will actually reduce the deficit because it increases the income from a range of tax increases and penalties on individuals, employers and insurance companies -- by $81 billion more than last year's projection.
