Missouri - Google Maps (http://tinyurl.com/65lv5b - broken link)

Looks like they've expanded the Missouri coverage a bit. They even pass by Poplar Bluff on 60 and 67.

Looks like they've expanded their coverage of Springfield as well. They pass by Columbia on I-70. Jefferson City is covered. They pass through Osage Beach. Branson is covered. Kansas City and Topeka seem to be extensively explored. Looks like the Illinois side of St. Louis may be more explored. Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Town and County, Chesterfield seem to be covered pretty well. St. Charles is only covered on the highways. Street View seems to cover most the major highways in Illinois also. Peoria and Springfield, IL are covered.

Default StreetView Missouri

Google Maps

Looks like most of Missouri is covered by Street View now.

What do you think of Street View? Like? Dislike? Don't care?

I love it. I have done a lot of house shopping with sv before seeing the places in person. It helps to see the neighborhood and get a better idea of how a house sits on a lot.

Hate it. Consider it a huge invasion of privacy since Google will not remove the "streetview" for an address when requested.

I can see that view point.

But Google's not alone. Though it's not on the street, there's Live Maps, too.

Your web browser and the Maps site are incompatible

Birds eye view also shows what your house looks like. And Birds Eye is available for a lot of places.

^ But google is so much easier to use (and plays well with Macs). You can use Google earth for 3D

Hmmm,,, and to recall that Google is ran by a bunch of Californians - could this be a plot by them to confuse you?

The wonderful thing these Californians are doing is to help me stay hidden from outsiders who use maps to look for me! Thankee, Califoreigners.
