Out of these towns, which would you prefer to live in and why?

Clinton
Nevada
Bolivar
Windsor
Butler

Thank you for your input...my husband and I have been trying to figure out where we want to relocate and are having some troubles.

Do you desire to live in or right outside these communities?
What ages are your two kids? Schools important?
What kind of social/entertainment/shopping/etc activities are important?
Closer to Springfield or KC areas?
Closer to the lake or Kansas border?
What type of employment, or is going to retire, or location of employer(s)?

sniffle,,, kinda disappointed that the towns of Tightwad nor Montrose aren't in your list...

Ok I'm not too familar with Missouri so Tightwad and Montrose????? Don't know what you mean by that. But...It doesn't matter as to if we are inside or outside of the towns. We have two little kids so schools are very important to us. I would like to be fairly close to the lake. I would like to be able to go there on the weekends. We would like to stay away from KC. My husband is in the factory work. I am a stay at home mom. Thank you!!

In my experience I like both Clinton and Bolivar the best of the towns you listed.

lol,,, Both are smaller communities within that same general area that you mentioned in your post above. As a person who has interest in where towns and areas acquire their names, I have bad habit of looking at various maps with wonder at some of these names. Tightwad is just so durn funny as a name in the modern sense [supposedly named after a store owner that cheated the mailman of 50 cents when he purchased a melon], whereas Montrose shares its name w/ a great guitar player and band name.

Will get some other info for you after bit.
