Near Langham Park, between Springhill and Museum Dr., Airport and Cody, Old Bruno's at Hillcrest and Cottage Hill, and University and Old Shell (Kingswood Shopping Ctr). First location to be open at Hillcrest and Cottage Hill this summer, with other 3 by years end. Was also in the Mobile Register this morning.

Glad to see GOOD grocery shopping moving back to Mobile! I know there's a small The Fresh Market in town, but that's not really mainstream shopping. I LOVE Publix where I live now!

I`m trying to see where would they build them in the above locations.

I havn`t seen any open land near Springhill and Museum dr. That area is a litttle dense.

Airport and Cody : I think there is a patch of woods on that corner.

Kingswood Shopping Ctr & Hillcrest and Cottage Hill :

Next up Whole Foods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Count your lucky stars for the addition of Publix in your area. Too bad Publix seems to have issues moving into the Knoxville, TN market. I sorely miss their clean stores, friendly staff and their sales, not to mention BoarsHead and other products.

Don't forget the Publix coming to Daphne as well! It will be in the shopping center north of the KFC. (Forgot the name)

Another note regarding Publix--Publix provides free antibiotics for animals. All you need is a script from your vet! I just got amoxicillen for my dog at a Publix in central FL. The freebies are a limited group however.

That is great! My husband is from Mobile and when we come to visit we both will be all over Publix since there aren't any in TX. The Boars Head lunch meat and sandwiches and their black and white cookies are the best. How many are they building total?
