I'd welcome either one... both carry my all-time favorite - Boar's Head Deli Meats and Cheeses!

For me, Publix...superior service and good quality. Kroger..largest food selection and great prices with good service. Either one for Mobile would be great, or both would be even better as my patience with Winn Dixie, FoodWorld/Brunos, and Wal Mart has totally run out.

I would do the happy dance if either of them moved here, as long as they hurry up and do so before I'm too old to push a grocery cart.

Winn Dixie has never been on the same level as Publix. Can't say about the one in Mobile but the ones in FL had issues. The quality of the food and the service is just not the same IMO
