Hello I would appreciate any and all opinions I want the good and bad when discussing moving to towns, or cities. I am in my mid 40's and will be looking for work as a certified medical assistant, and I am also certified in phlebotomy and ekg. I am looking to move to an area where I don't have to travel more than half an hour to work. I will also be looking for an apartment to rent in a safe area, i do have a dog under 25 pounds. I would also like to live in an area where quality medical offices are near by. I know this is vague but I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Carol

It really depends on where you plan to work. If you are going to work at a hospital or clinic in Mobile, its best to live in Mobile. If you are working in Baldwin County most likely you would want to live in Daphne or Fairhope.

Here is the thing to consider... Morning rush hour going INTO MOBILE (westbound) is a SOB, and the same going home or EAST OUT OF MOBILE in the afternoon is a major SOB and add holiday and summer traffic...UGH! I had a great deal 4 years ago on a rental in Spanish Fort, and after taking 4 hours to get there from midtown thanks to 3 wrecks that day on the bayway I vowed to never live on the Eastern Shore and deal with that dang commute. If you work downtown, then you should consider it, but work in west mobile...lol..no way!
