Very excited to see a project of this type. I hate that it won't break ground until the latter part of 2025. Hopefully, it will stay on track and come to fruition.

No, just the concept was announced. I don't even think the plans are finalized. Still have a way to go to see if this one survives. However, knowing the group behind it... they wouldn't have made this announcement without feeling really confident about it going forward.

Gotcha. In the comments a few people mentioned that this has been in the works for years. So that made me really confident knowing it wasn't an idea that happened 2 months ago.

This was stemming from an RFP from the city, so this announcement is really a bit of a necessity given the site in question. Now that the work has been "awarded", real design and planning begin.

The main building design might change til 2025. The area of the property is very small for the project. We might be looking at up to 25 story skyscraper when it's all said and done.

How tall is the one proposed for the civic center property?
