Do Californians have accents compared to Alabamanians?

Californians come from around the world....so there are many accents blended together. I moved there from Maine....I didnt hear a CA accent........I did hear a lot of Latino accents.

Here is a California accent.--Or at least the accent in a really good part of Encino!--courtesy of Moon Unit Zappa.

If you think accents don't exist, you don't have a good ear for it. They're just muted in the metro areas, but they still exist. Plenty of thick accents outside the cities.
