From what I've heard and seen Chicago pizza is superior. I heard New York style was flat and not special.

I ate both thin and thick when I was in NYC. I had the thin kind at Grand Central, and I had the thick kind at a little place on Mulberry St in 'Little Italy' (had to eat it w/ a fork). Both were okay but nothing to write home about, NY pizza is a little overrated IMO.

Imo you cannot beat NY pizza. Chicago pizza is good, but not like NY. Not to be homer, but my fav right now has evolved to St. Louis style (paper-thin).

But back to the OP, I'll try to remember to try this new place when visiting my parents in Eastern Shore ... and give my opinion in this thread.

I am a Chicago guy(not from there, just visit often and love it). I consider myself deeply versed in the art of pizza. I love the deep dish pie. I don't really consider it the same as other pizza. If I have to choose, a slice of New York style is the clear winner. Although the best I've had was from Philly.

Chicago pizza for me. I've had the original Uno, Connie's, Lou Malnati's, etc. all in Chicago. The absolute best though, was Chicago pizza but it was in California. A Chicago native opened a small pizza shop in Orange County in Placentia, CA, called Tony's Little Italy. Best pizza I've ever had in my life....and I travel nationwide frequently for my job; so I've had it all.
