Wow, EH what a time down there!
I feel bad about complaining when the folks in the tornado areas are suffering.
The prairie is absolutely stunning, green as Ireland..still ducks floating in the fields. Means hard times for the farmers but it is hard to curse water...
today is a muffin day, maybe pecan.. Rez I will eat one in your honor..

Man, what's really scary is that we are complaining and so over loaded with "waters" that now watch, we'll go into a drought period and there's no way we can save all this water!!

That's what, 150-200 miles? I think I'da just slept in my car, never mind the driving home crap!! Unless he's not expected to come back til the main road is open again?

Better a false report than a busted dam... hope it stays that way...

That's the problem, Montana is in Ireland by mistake! That's what happens when the roads are closed and you get lost on the way home!

Betcha there's a lot of reservoir-building this summer, before it all drains away!

That pecan muffin sounds 'lishus

I'm hating life. I'm stuck in town. grrrrr. My daughter conned me into watching her dogs and house while they are out of town. I came in yesterday at noon (they were leaving at 1 and I didn't want to come into town any sooner then I had to). I'm stuck here until tomorrow when they get back. Will visit for about 2 minutes and then get the hell out of here.

How would you like to look out the front door at this everytime you opened the door?

No, it's in front of the garage. Horses are grazing in the back yard.

At least I can go shopping today. Need to pick up some plants, a decent coffee cup, some socks, the girl from checkstand 3, some iron for the new wagon, my pistol from the gunsmith, etc. So it's not all wasted.

Dang, Elk, I'm gonna go to town with you more often. Can we get some dancing girls from the bar while we're at it?

Yesterday's salvage is a nice big LCD monitor. Guy gave me two for the computer club to demolish, one supposed to be dead and the other not so good. The not-so-good one is dead... and the "dead" one works perfectly fine, so far... Happy Birthday to me!
