That certainly brought back memories for me as I taught a Map Using Course to a bunch of Reservists way back in 1998, right here in Kingston. It was while I was teaching, and had the map mounted in front of the classroom, that I realized that we were less than 15 miles, as the crow flies, from U.S. soil (nearest point, Cape Vincent, NY); I knew we were close, but not quite that close.

Coincidentally, I bumped into one of the students whom I taught on that course today (didn't seem like 13 years ago), and we had a coffee together. Hopefully, he remembers what I taught him, because if he goes East when he really wants to go West, he's gonna get awfully wet and cold in a hurry (he's from St. John's, NL).

My hubby has an electric splitter. Still needs to learn to use :-) We're moving, no wood stove (as of yet)Betcha he changes his mind? Says he's tired of "ranching" Well hate to inform him, I'm the one who took care of chickens, yard, garden, hauling wood into the house etc. He says that's my job. Gotta love old Archie Bunker...

I don't understand. Once again, my 401K (redneck version) didn't pay off. What is up with the lottery? hahahahaha Look. It's Wednesday. That is when I get paid. Obviously not. hahahahaha

Does anybody else play? I don't normally, but when I was down in South Dakota I grabbed a ticket. Well, ok. I got a ticket that is good for 9 plays. So there is always the next draw. Hey, if I win, I'll spring for the booze!!!!!

Wyoming doesn't have a lottery. We have "Taxes." hahahahaha
