Having made this hundreds of times, I'd say no. I know how fast this sets up as you are trying to stir it. It's quick already. By the way, I forgot to mention, use a THICK WOOD SPOON to stir. I've snapped a lot of regular wood spoons and metal stuff just bends and ticks you off.

Default A pine cone and a gaggle for ya all. ~♥~

Dang, I'm out of firewood. I spent way too much time taking pictures and zero time fixing my saw. Oh well.
I found a pine cone in my backyard and was soooooo excited about it I had to show you all.

Below is our backyard gaggle of turkeys. This group sleeps in the trees in our yard.

I would never have guessed that to be a pinecone.

I call that photo that is really all about the framing and effects more than the subject, a tiny pine-cone,

Merry Christmas y'all!!!! We decided to leave sunny AZ and travel to nor-cal for the holiday. I'll tell ya, after living in nor-cal for 30 odd years now that we return I've no idea how the heck we ever lived here! I've never (well not in the last 15 years or so) seen such a mass of people who can't drive, walk, stand or move especially without either texting or talking on the phone or hitting each other!
We've almost been taken out 3 times just on the way here and when we stopped for gas by Anderson's Split Pea Soup shop some transient idiot walked out and stood in the slow lane right in front of us!: Almost ran his butt over! When I honked he looked at me like "yeah, what's your problem and why are you honking at me?"

Anyway, back to the bacon... We stopped by Shields Date farm and bought a box of extra LARGE dates.
We wrap 'em in bacon using a toothpick to hold it and then bake at 350 deg until the bacon is cooked but not overly crispy. Those things FLY off the plate. You can use different flavors of bacon from pepper bacon to just regular cheap run of the mill stuff.
I wouldn't use turkey bacon or any of that "other" faux bacon as it's an insult to the wonderful date you've wrapped . Besides, it's kinda like getting a double whopper with cheese and a diet soda, or my favorite, the guy who bought a dr. pepper float at the last event but had to have diet dr. pepper!

Hope y'all aren't getting too much snow, we're about to be smacked by one heck of a winter rainstorm so we're told... I knew I should've packed my generator!

Default Late to bed, early to rise.

Gotta get the sleep outta the eyes.
I was up 'till the wee hours trying to get "Moon Shots"
Lots of howling in the woods last night.
Nobody should wonder about the origin of the word "Lunatic"

Not a bad idea.

But I'd prefer to stuff with bacon, before wrapping them in bacon.

Then put an extra wrap of bacon on 'em - just for good measure, (as we used to say).

This is one of those things that my cardiologist loves about me.

Sounds wonderful, mg! If you really love bacon, Google 'bacon explosion'.
