Would I like to have a boat? Sure. I can borrow the neighbors any time.

There are two great days for a boat owner. The day he/she purchases the wonderfule boat. And the day he/she sells the boat.
I must say that my hubby has two and uses them frequently and it keeps him out of my hair. Small one for small lakes and a good size one for the larger lakes, ie: Canyon Ferry, Flathead, Fort Peck. Ah, yes, I love boats!!

And not easy as you age. Going for a few days with daughter and kids. I'm tired just thinking of the packing I need to do shortly.

Some people still camp cheaply. Me for instance. I have two rucksacks with everything I need. I camp in the forest, not a camp ground.

But some folks don't camp, they move for the weekend. My daughter for instance. When she goes camping she likes to pick out a nice place so their 5th wheel will level easily. They take two trucks, one to pull the 5th wheel and the other to haul the coolers and pull a trailer with the 4 wheelers. Takes them a full day to get everything ready so they can go "camping" on Friday and Saturday and then come home on Sunday.

Me. I just grab my two bags and go. I have a sleeping bag, a tent, a lantern, a stove, cooking utinsils, a folding fishing pole, etc... I pack a small cooler with beer as I plan on catching my food when I get there.

Geez, when I used to go camp for a day or two I didn't even do that much, I just put the dogs in the truck and off I went. There's a sleeping bag and a Popiel Pocket Fisherman in the truck, along with a camp stove and a lantern and a couple gallons of water. What more do I need?
