Well, I arrived about 2 weeks ago, and am loving it! I'm working at the Glendive Medical Center, and am liking the job. The night after I got here, I did the local corned beef supper(proceeds went to fund the local baseball team for the kids), and then the Saturday after that I played with the glendive community orchestra at the library. All part of the Celtic festival. Found an apartment while I was still in Houston. I'm liking the snow, the more the better! In fact, I'm walking to work! Everyone has been very welcoming, and they are glad I'm here! Anyone who thinks about a major move like this REALLY should jump right into community events, they are a lot of fun. I also am loving the SLOW pace of life here. I can drive somewhere and not feel rushed, no honking cars, no road rage. People all say hi to me on the street. Well, I guess that's all I have to say, but I like Glendive, and it seems to like me as well.
