Quaker Steak would be a good fit in Morgantown.

I've also heard about a Quaker Steak and Lube going in...Still have not seen anything and I don't think there have been any other buildings started/finished other than Triple S. Would be an interesting location to say the least and, as far as I have seen, most QS&L's are VERY biker friendly. If it is anything like the one in Wheeling, it would be a nice addition.

I know a hotel is under contract, and I've heard another gas station and a couple of restaurants - Hooters and Quaker Steak - may be coming as well, but those are just rumors as of yet.

It is an outstanding location, and highly visable from the Interstate. I was recently at the Wheeling Quaker Steak and I agree that would make a nice addition. So would a Hooters there. It's also a natural for another hotel. I believe this will spur residential development too from there to Mylan Park.

Morgantown makes for an outstanding location for folks to stop who are traveling down I-79 and US 19 toward Charlotte from the populated northern cities. If you look at the restaurants on the University Town Center side of that exit, Cheddars, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel and the others they are always busy. The new ball park will bring even more business.

The new ball park should spur lots of new shops and restaraunts near it. I could care less if hooters came to town. Not that I have anything against the scantly clad women, I just think their food is crap. Would much prefer primantis or some other eateries that bring a new twist to Morgantown. Would be cool to get a west coast In n out burger or even a pf changs or burgatory

Agreed completely on Hooters chunk....I'm still waiting on some type of Dave and Buster style "entertainment" center. It is only a matter of time.....Valley World's of Fun probably doesn't cut it.

FYI, there is an indoor, glow in the dark, mini-golf location going in on High Street - Galaxy Golf...not sure that it is going to fly but just wanted to pass the word along even if it isn't the most appropriate location.

Word is that Primanti's might go in at Suncrest, which I'm all for. I'm not the biggest fan of Hooters either, but I know plenty who are. As for Galaxy Golf, it will go upstairs where the Dancing Fig is (formerly Lira and Wesbanco before that).

A Hooters would go at Gateway, but not at Suncrest because there is already a Tilted Kilt there, which has a similar theme.
