I wonder if they will be staying in hotels while they are here or if they are going to fully move to the area and then move back later. Either way it’ll be good for this area. I’m sure all the stores and restaurants are happy to hear this news, always a good thing to have an influx of well paying jobs to the area.
If this redevelopment plan gets approved (anyone's guess with the current administration) then it will be solid economic news for Clarksburg/ North-Central. Local individuals employed in tech or law enforcement positions should pay very close attention to this because if the jobs stay and become permanent then it will provide a ton of opportunities. The same thing happened when the finger printing facility originally opened in the mid 90s as many of the FBI employees were unwilling to relocate to Clarksburg- this created a ton of opportunities.
The growth along the I-79 corridor from Clarksburg to Morgantown has been remarkable these last several years. If there are any openings in accounting, I will certainly apply!
Good luck getting a job with them. Nearly impossible unless you know some insiders.
Many WVU criminal justice students intern with them and get to know those insiders. The school has an excellent relationship with them.
