I'm getting this tax credit (loan)..

It is 10% of the home selling price of 7500 which ever is less..

It will be under 5000 for me.

I'll take the money, stuff it in an interest earning account, and keep it for a Nest Egg for emergency use...

Does anyone know if I can still itemize (attach Schedule A to my 1040) and still claim the First Time Homebuyer credit?
