What do you folks think the chances are that Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac will extend the foreclosure moratorium? I think the current moratorium ends on Friday the 30th.

Looks like no dice on the foreclosure moratorium. However, the eviction ban is still in place until the end of February.

Well.... I was for the the moratorium on evictions during the cold of winter... After February, why should deadbeats stay in houses they no longer own? Time for them to leave, find an apartment... whatever... they lost the right to own the home when they stop paying for it...

They must of lifted it cause the house I want is going up for sale next week and I have my agent and broker all over it!

We happened to swing by when the realtor was changing the locks and she said the bank just took it off moratorium!

I can't understand how we have become a society that is so financially dysfunctional that it even requires to read what you just posted. What happened to good old common sense saying "If you can't pay for it....it's not yours!".

BTW - great post!
