Reading an article on Popular Science Magazine about a Turkish company who are designing Green Eco boats that will use the Sun along with the Wind to use Zero HydroCarbon fuel (diesel). Has a cool look and design to it.

I used to have one powered by the wind. It was called a Sailboat.

What a beautiful boat. Its great to see an eco design being so sleek The should sticck a helix windmill on the mast for when the sun is absent.

I should have mentioned in my original post for those who didn't read the story is that the Solar Panels will power the onboard Electric Engines on these boats as some may think ...''Whats wrong with the wind on a sailboat'' .

Off subject Sidenote: They named the boat after the Mediterranean Flying Fish.....as i remembered them as when i was in the Navy and whenever i was on Forward Lookout you'd see them the entire day darting across the bow about 50 yards in front of our Ship as they fly about 40 or 50 yards across at about a foot or two above the water. Only place in the Oceans we ever saw them as it was a trip to see the, fly across like that.

I have a feeling that it would take a decade of fuel expenses to make up the difference between the cost of a conventional boat and this one.
