She tamed Warren Beatty at the height of his power(s). Which many people believe could never be done.

She was great in "Postcards from the Edge" and "The American President."

If only there were an award for that

But, seriously, he wasn't at the "height of his power" (I assume you mean "sexual prowess") when they began dating; that was way before Annette. In fact, he was 55 when they married--way past his prime.

I think he was still hot looking when he did Bugsy though. This has now changed.

Bit of trivia: When they asked Warren Beatty why he feel in love with Annette Benning over all the other women in his life, he replies "Because when she walks into the room....I feel better."
I thought that was a perfect description of love.

You think? I really don't think that he was very attractive after he turned 40. When he was younger, like in the movies Splendor in the Grass or, even, Boonie and Clyde, I can see the attraction. But after that... I just don't think that aged well.

It is a lovely thing to say, but I'm not sure I buy it. I think he "fell in love" b/c he was finally over-the-hill enough to not get away with being a playboy. So, he decided to "fall in love" and settle down; to me, it seems more like timing rather than actual love.

But who knows? They certainly are a lovely couple.
