Not very good movies and definitely miscast with Liam... To me these were badly written "plug in any actor" and get instant action hero flicks.

Just as bad as the Wolf movie - "The Grey". I did not see Battleship, but I heard it was really bad too.

And how he ended up in "A Million Ways to Die in the West" I'll never know. He must be using Cuba Gooding Jr.'s agent.

LOL. The daughter did become a mini Stallone, didn't she?? Don't ask me why, but I actually enjoyed the second one for some odd reason! I saw it twice though, and that was good enough. All I know is, this third on better be THE BOMB DIGGITY!!

I thought the one on the airplane was the third in the franchise.

No, the 3rd installment doesn't premiere until January 2015.

Didn't he play the same character in the airplane film?

Yeah, basically. Which makes me realize the "Taken" films really missed an opportunity to name the sequels. The should have verbed everything and come up with sequels like:

Taken
Flown
Stolen
Submerged
Orbited

Every other sequel Neeson could be on board a different vehicle. First the airplane, then a submarine, then the space shuttle I suppose. I'm having a hard time coming up with a good verb for a train ride. Railed maybe?

Loved the first one. The second was just okay. I read that Liam agreed on starring in the third one under the condition that no one gets taken in it. Should be interesting...

I hope they come with an awesome plot or at least a decent plot with killer action.

Taken: Rocked. Loved that movie. The thing about a parent that you don't care who you have take down or hurt along the way to make sure your kid is safe.

Taken 2: Well I'm like "meh" its ok. Felt like they recycled too much of the first film. Granted they took Wifey instead of daughter. Also never liked that they went on vacation in that part of world. One would think that Liam's character would have some background knowledge on who he took out in the first movie. Then say "mmmm? Maybe we should vacation in the opposite direction?" The angle that family was looking for revenge I liked instead of simply just running into another gang/mafia type syndicate. Had it been me? Would have thought that maybe my face and name was out there for killing so many of their group and would have been at the very least on look out for me. Maybe its just the paranoid talking.

That said, Cautiously optimistic on Taken 3.

LOL!!!" Very funny post. I think the plot of Taken 3 is: The leather jacket wearing ruffians take ...The family dog! But if we don't watch the movie .....he will find us! : )

There was a movie in the lifetime channel the other night called Taken : the abduction of Sophie something or other. Julie Benz starred. It was similar to Liams movie.
