What's Up, Doc! Yes! OMG, I was just thinking about that movie the other day. I love that movie.

Agree with other posters on:
* Foul Play
* Monty Python and Holy Grail
* The Odd Couple
* Some Like it Hot (Marilyn has a natural comedic talent, and she was also good in:
* How to Marry a Millionaire and
* Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)
* It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

I'll add:
* Lover Come Back
* Pillow Talk
* Teacher's Pet
* Singin' in the Rain
* The Ghost and Mr. Chicken

What is your favorite older, funny movie?
I have to agree with you, Dr. Strangelove is an absolute classic and funny as hell!

Reefer Madness comes to mind as another hysterical classic, intentional or not.

The Loved One (1965).

Dark and twisted, very witty, kind of Monty Python, about the funeral business in Los Angeles. Starring Robert Morse, Jonathan Winters, Rod Steiger (!) and even Liberace (!!)
