I re-watched this film about The Shining last night. I believe most of it is far too speculative and it reaches excessively for symbolisms which were never intended to be in the film. I do find the impossibility of The Shining set to be interesting, such as the window in the middle of the hotel, the doors which would lead to thin air, the wrap-around rooms, etc., but the rest, such as the film containing messages when superimposed on itself run backwards, is just plain silly.
