Skyfall was a regression to ridiculous Bond and not in a good way. None of it made any sense.

Spectre was ok but it seemed more like a Jason Borne film than a Bond film.

Quantum of Solace - a lot of people give the story grief but it was done during the writer's strike, and I believe it was half rewritten by the producer and stars of the show. I think it's good as a follow-on /continuation of Casino Royale.

Casino Royale - the best Bond film in my opinion. Enough action and enough spying to seem like real movie and not a video game.

Right on. Casino Royale was fantastic. Skyfall was nonsensical in some capacities, and just way too far-fetched, even for a Bond flick.
