Anyone seen this movie? What did you think of it?

Saw it yesterday, loved it, especially Francis McDormand. Woody Harrelson was mighty good also.

Interesting ending!!

i thought it was a tough movie to watch, because it portrays grief-driven rage so well. I'm glad I got to see it, as Francis McDormand's performance is a knockout!

Well done, but not a happy moment in the whole movie.

It's not all that, but the highlight for me were two performances:

John Hawkes - ex-husband. I still remember him from Miranda July's Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005) where he played the single father bringing up two kids.

Clarke Peters - walk-in Sheriff. Although a small part, he had a good one. He also played one of the actors being interviewed by the media in Notting Hill (1999)

Did you enjoy making the film?

Yes, I did.

Good.

Any bit in particular?

You tell me what bit you enjoyed the most, and I'll tell you if I enjoyed making that bit.

No happy moments, I agree. I do liked that they pulled you in with a small gesture of kindness just when it seemed like there was no hope - a glass of juice, a phone call, letters, $5000.

I enjoyed it as much as one can enjoy such a dark subject. Makes you think.

We watched this over the weekend and I must say it deserves all the accolades it has been getting. I thought it was a great movie, dark but very well done.
