Mysterio's intro wasn't too slick.

Marisa looks way too young to be Aunt May (who should be grey or greying).

And a "romance" between May and...Happy?! Who wrote this?

Overall, color me unimpressed. Sorry.

It's always a pleasure to hear the Ramones. But yeah, I was largely underwhelmed with this teaser. It looks like hijinks with occasional interruptions of CGI battles. That is not what made Spider-Man the most popular hero in the world. Where is the heart?

I know they were hoping for an "Awesome!" reaction at the Mysterio reveal, but I just rolled me eyes.

It's the same freakin' song every time. It's like in Fant4stic when we meet Vic Von Doom and what's the classical piece we hear? An excerpt from Vivaldi's "Spring." It's like using "Every Breath You Take" for the bazillionth time. It becomes its own cliché.

The miracle of hair coloring and make up in action.

I just made peace with Marisa Tomei after they deglamorized her in Homecoming. At 54 she is right there with her mates like say Ming-Na Wen on Agents and many TV leading ladies But then I thought Sally Field was too glamorous for the role when she played Aunt May. Later comic's readers assured me that later artist changed her portrayal since my days of reading the comics. As an actual almost 40 years older aunt and not a grand aunt of Peter the MCU/Sony version of May does fit.

it looks like it will be fun, if it wasn't for Infinity War II and wanting to see how the Endgame plays out right now Far From Home is my most anticipated 2 hours of this genre on the current radar. Followed by Agents of SHIELD, Captain Marvel, Cloak and Dagger and then The Punisher.

Awesome to see someone like Jake doing a superhero movie. But then again he did videogame movies so not unusual for him as he does many genres.

I'm sick of Spider-man cause they keep rebooting it. 3-5 years from now they are probably going to reboot it again with another actor. It's like they just can't be happy they had a successful series before and move on.

They keep trying to get it right, but they keep making the same mistakes.

The current Tom Holland version works best for me. I think he nails it.

He's a great Peter Parker / Spider-Man. No complaints against him or any of the actors. But the scripts are growing increasingly hollow and ridiculous.
