I still think Ioan Gruffudd did a darned good Reed Richards.
I had no complaints with his casting in those movies, but I thought the scripts were a mess. Which I cannot fathom. Some of the FF storylines from the '60s and '70s are still considered the Gold Standard of super hero comics. Making such mediocre movies from such fantastic source material is like failing an opening book test. No excuse.

True, but I don't know if that is the influence of Cumberbatch as it is the screenwriters. Marvel movies have been almost irredeemably infected with snark and bathos. It's the main reason that even though I am thrilled that Marvel has the FF and X-Men back, I really hope they sit in Development Hell until after Keige is gone. I'm really afraid we're going to have to stop for witty quips in the middle of vanquishing Galactus and that we'll have to suffer through Silver Surfer Jeff Spicoli references.
No Reeves is more quietly brooding than Wolverine should be. I still think Ioan Gruffudd did a darned good Reed Richards.

Cumberpatch is about perfect as one can get plus he’s a better actor. I like Reeves but he’s not known for his acting.
I have only seen Park in the SW and X-Men films, and in both he was cast primarily for this physical prowess, not his acting. I have no idea if he can act. In X-Men he had ... what? 3 lines?

Yeah not sure how his acting is. But he meets all the other requirements.
We just watched Tom Hardy in the BBC miniseries "Taboo" (written by Hardy and his father). Well, dang, I have much more respect for him now. I think he could do it, despite "Venom."
Tom's one of the best actors out there today. You need to see more of his movies. Check out Locke. Hell, his turn as Bane alone should convince anybody.

Wolverine's "classic" comic costume is dumb, just like Hawkeye's. It should never make it to the screen.
I guess it’s all a matter of personal preference. I love the Wolverine Mask and costume from the comics, so he has always looked a little strange to me without it in the movies . Although I will admit that comic characters and their costumes don’t always translate well on the big screen. But Black Panther, Spider-Man, and other MCU characters have had really cool looking masks on the big screen. Also, the character in the Watchmen had a mask that was kinda a hybrid between Batman and Wolverine, and it didn’t look that bad on a much lower budget. With the money the MCU puts behind their films, I’m sure they could come up with a good mask and uniform for Wolverine, but that is just my personal preference.
