This movie is currently in limited release in my area. It is very thought provoking with good acting by all. I am a huge Mark Ruffalo fan and am so glad that he bought this script. I think that he will be nominated for Academy award Best Actor and Tim Robbins best supporting.
I’m a fan too. Our local news has covered this movie because the topic is so relevant here. ( A DuPont company puts chemical waste in the Cape Fear River flowing downstream to Wilmington, NC). We’re kind of in the dark (no pun intended) about the dangers involved.
I hope to see it this week. Sounds like a very good movie.
It is released here December 5th and I plan on seeing it. DuPont really screwed up polluting the creeks and waters near their factories and then lied about it for years. I read the book recently too, fascinating story.
I'm surprised ruffalo will agree to be in a movie if the cast and crew aren't 99% illegals.
Why didn’t this movie get nominated by the GG or the AA??
