May December (2023) is the most unique hollywood film I've ever seen.
It was like watching real life.
Best film of the year.
Its probably not dramatic enough to win Oscars though.
And most of the people in "the academy" are deranged drama queens, so they probably won't vote for it.
They probably won't even like Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore's acting, because the performances were too real and not melodramatic enough.

The Sign of the Cross (1932)

WOW! Cecil knew how to make a heck of a movie! I was a little bit shocked that so much bosom was shown on Claudette but it wasn't complete. Neither were the affairs of the arena but he certainly knew how to communicate that emotion. A 9.6.

She must be aging slowly then, last time I saw her was Mission Impossible III (2006) and she was 30.

"The Naked City" from 1948. A great film noir set in a great city.

Starring Alan Rickman as Rasputin and Ian McKellen as Czar Nicholas II - this was pretty excellent, I must say!

The Dead Girl (2006) - Trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-AfAlSvxaI

This was alright, it was a quiet drama/thriller told in chapters, with an interesting cast. When I say "quiet drama" = no loud explosions/crazy music, it was a movie I put on to fall asleep to, but became too engrossed with to sleep and stayed awake to the end. Definitely a 'chick flick'.
