Saw them as a kid in the 70s and loved them. As a kid, I didn’t know the lead actor wasn’t Asian. Looking back on it now, what I found interesting was the European actor portraying “Charlie Chan” spoke broken English with a fake Asian accent while his Asian actor sons spoke with American accents since they were born and raised in America.
