That's frickin' scary to know. Thank you for the heads up. I rank Ferrell in the same lowly acting catagory as Black. I think Shallow Hal and Old School are the only movies either of them star in that I can tolerate.

I believe that Ferrell can act as proven by the movie Stranger Than Fiction. However, most of his films are just him doing his same act. That of the deranged "get off the shed" guy. I have yet to see Black act in anything though. I guess King Kong wasn't terrible.

I just finished watching District B13 - Ultimatum. What a crappy sequel. The action sequences were much more weak than the first movie. The stunts in the first film were much better.

"Bridge on the River Kwai" last night. Wowza! My wife made fun of me (a film/journalism degree holder) for never having seen it as she had to watch it in a film class at college (we went to the same school....I'm guessing I was holed up in a tavern somewhere that day). It's a little bit on the long side, they could've cut 45 minutes, but if nothing else David Lean may do "big" better then anybody ever did. And, the extraordinary final hour or so makes up for the length. Really great film and I've added it to my list of what I consider "classic". I'm sort of disappointed I didn't get the Blu Ray of it, as I thought the print of the standard definition version I got from Netflix could've used some cleaning up. This might be because of the conversion from the original Cinemascope presentation to standard DVD format showed flaws in the print a little easier, but I'm not sure. Go out and rent this now!

We watched Martyrs and This Is It today.
I was pleasantly surprised with the latter.

The last two were a Woody Allen film and Sophie's Choice. Manhattan Murder Mystery. I love the spastic NYC city personas.
And then Sophie's Choice. Watching the moment of the choice destroyed me Streep's performance was indeed great.

in the theater - Avatar in 3D. Liked it alot.
at home - Dragonball Evolution. Liked it more than I thought I would, though they realy cheesed out on the ending. Very unclimactic.

At the theatre, the last three were; (Twillight) New Moon, Wolfman & Crazy Heart. I watch most movies on our DVD player, at home.
