So many good ones, but if I had to narrow it down to one, it would be The Breakfast Club.

Great picks by all.

I'll repeat Adventures in Babysitting and Summer School. The Lost Boys might be my favourite. I think it's my favourite vampire movie and I love it as an 80s flick, great soundtrack too.

I really liked 3 O'clock High, mentioned by one poster. Was this made for TV, like HBO or something, not sure it was in theatres. Loved it.

Loved the Warriors, one of my all-time, although technically a 70s flick.

I'll add Stand By Me, which included many great 80s actors, although set in the 50s.

Also The Last American Virgin, an obscure comedy/drama from 1982, starring the guy who was Dennis' best friend in Mask (another great 80s flick btw, awesome Bob Seger soundtrack).

One more, Reckless, starring Aidan Quinn and Daryl Hannah. A sultry scene by the pool, and a good soundtrack, mostly early INXS.

Last one, Heathers. Christian Slater's defining movie. Dark comedy. Great lines in this one, mostly by Slater.

Couldn't agree more.

And Rad, remember that movie?

Was that where the kid was gonna get beat up or something? Cuz if so, I remember that one too.

That's the one! Casey Siemaszko in the lead role (he of secondary Back to the Future and Stand By Me roles) was perfect as the frustratingly inept, wimpy guy.

My all time favorite was The Sure Thing, second is Better Off Dead...I really like John Cusack and had a major crush on Daphne Zuniga.

Loved the 80s music but I didn't care much for the movies at all with the exception of Muriel's Wedding. That was good. Or was that the 90s?

I think all my favorites have been mentioned except April Fool's Day (1986) and Deathtrap (1982). Great surprise endings.
