Medical drama fans should pounce - "Something the Lord Made" (2004)

"It tells the emotional true story of two men who defied the rules of their time to launch a medical revolution"

Set against the backdrop of 1940s Baltimore, an unprecedented technique for performing heart surgery on "blue babies" - the brilliant medical technician Vivien Thomas and Dr. Alfred Blalock formed an impressive historic team.

Hachi: A Dog's Story (with Richard Geer). based on a true story, IIRC

A 2 hour nervous breakdown. Don't watch it if you have sensitivity to animals. smh.

Probably THE KITE RUNNER. When Hassan fights the older boys to get Amir-Jan's kite back, gets raped and still brings the kite to Amir-Jan after because he's such a good friend. Then they show the blood leaking from his pants as he's struggling to walk back with the kite. Oh man.

The Bridges of Madison County - the ending scene. So sad.

You've Got Mail - the ending scene. Such a happy ending.

For me, it's when her mother is running around screaming at the nurses to GIVE MY DAUGHTER THE SHOT!!!!! So powerful.
