"Indie"...

Much in the vein of Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Requiem For A Dream, Graden State, Donnie Darko, Trainspotting, etc.....

Oooh, good topic. I must weigh in.

Personally, I've always loved "Permanent Midnight" with Ben Stiller (in a rare serious role) and Janine Garofolo(sp?) and of course, "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy"

Not sure if it's considered an Indie, but I recently saw "Gone, Baby, Gone" and thought it was a great movie. Casey Affleck and Ed Harris were amazing and Ben Affleck did a great job directing, IMO. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat....

"Run Lola Run" is another good one...
