Are there any ragtime fans left out there besides the three of us?

Reginald Robinson is just 39 years old. I admit I actually don't have much ragtime, but it's kind of fun. Maybe with the whole "steampunk" thing it could have a small cult following.

LOL, my introduction to ragtime probably was the cartoon "One Froggy Evening" when I was but a wee lass in the early 60s. Trivia: "Michigan Rag" was written specifically for the cartoon.

I have some old ragtime cassettes I bought when I was in high school and the soundtrack from "The Sting" was the rage. They are great fun to listen to, and never fail to put me in a good mood. Maybe I should think about transferring them to CD before they break ...

Was always familiar with some of the old ragtime piano pieces, but since I've started hanging out around here and poking around Youtube, I've become a fan of ragtime guitar.

Lots of super-cool stuff by the first guy is out there, and the second one is a newer recording of a Scott Joplin composition.
