Glass_of_Merlot: The southern Swedish accent is the main reason Boten Anna is up in running against his even more embarrassing attempt in English.

Here is a version of Ding Dong Song with lyrics...and yes, you heard right.

The original music video - which aired in Sweden - is not safe to post at City Data. It's way too Swedish.

According to me it is a tie between the original Basshunter song "Boten Anna" (Swedish) and his English version of it which is called "Now you're gone".

The most uncreative repetitive song I have ever heard is the Beatles' Here Comes the Sun. The song doesn't change lyrically but 3 times. The melody and chorus is practically constant.

I saw a huge focus on current pop music, which some of it is actually quite good.

I was just saying music was just as bad and repetitive back then. Here was an example by a band everyone loves.

Here are the lyrics...
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

Beyond what I highlighted, it is just stating the same thing over and over and over and over.... and over.... The chords mixed are very repetitive.

Keepin' it real.

When I read the thread topic, I already knew it was about Rebecca Black. I swear!!!!!!!

Sometimes, I get the impression some songs were made with the intent of giving listeners a comic feeling. The mediocrity of the friday song is just flat out funny!!!!!

After seeing that song i felt i had to create a thread to see what other people thought of it.

In the Friday song it's just the way she mentions cereal. And how she doesn't know 'which seat to take'

short songs with a few lyrics is not a bad thing. Just ask Robert Pollard. What I am doing now is very similar.

How about the one about "someone left a cake out in the rain..."
I've loved 60s music, but this song was painful, and since I've had satellite radio, I've actually heard it like 3 times since January.

She's ONLY 13, so she should probably not be like Justin Beiber and just wait 'til her voice matures. lol
