What is the deal with Taylor Swift? She wrote that line about how the other girl that was no good for the boy she loved because of the implication that she was "trampy" for wearing short skirts.

But lately Taylor has been dressing pretty "daringly" herself.

Can she expect people to take her songs seriously now? What do you think?

I don't have all the Taylor Swift stuff down, but are you referring to the lyrics "she wears short skirts, I swear sneakers. She's cheer captain, I'm on the bleachers."? If so, I don't think she was calling the short-skirt wearing girl "trampy" at all, just saying she was not the type for the guy she likes and that she wishes he would see he'd be better off with her and her type (down to earth or whatever). But what are you talking about even shorter skirts???
