Big Sleater-Kinney fan here. Funny, I never heard of S-K until I read a review of "The Woods" in the paper, and got a bunch of their CD's. Can't believe I missed them during the '90's.
I managed to get tickets to one of their last shows at the 930 club. I've been pretty impressed since - Janet managed to break one of her drums, and while she was getting another from backstage, Carrie and Corrine played "Buy Her Candy," a song that doesn't have any drums. Not many bands or singers can improvise like that.

I probably should have done a search to see if the 2000's already had a thread; the 70's, 80's and 90's were always appearing on the first page, I figured the aughts didn't have a thread yet. I will definitely check out that link. Thanks.
