Advertisements

A pair of current Neutrogena ads use the annoying earworm "Body Talkin'" by Audiomoe with Flo Marinez. Listen and it's in your head all day.

Culligan has a recent ad for their water softening system that uses the French-Vietnamese artist Mai Lan and her song "Pumper". It has a definite earworm quality to it.

Way back in 1987 a very young Matt Leblanc starred in a Heinz ketchup commercial using Jon Astley's song of the same year. Jane's Getting Serious.

The song is Legendary by Welshly Arms used in a PBS promo with eye candy. I like the PBS version better, it’s a remix, I wish I could find this in a full version

PBS version

Video release, better than earlier versions, but not as good as the PBS version, IMO

Someone much younger than I referred to the song, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" as "The Raisin" song. Really.

The Raisins were HUGE at the time. I think it was 1989 or 1990, at the state fair, just about all the crap that you could win at the game booths was Raisins.

For several years Buick has been using the catchy synth-driven "It's Alright" by Matt and Kim.

I'd rather not discover songs used in commercials.
